Make Jesus Your Anchor.

"We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain." Hebrews 6:19.

If we believe that everything must pass through God’s hand before it gets to us, then we must believe our present circumstances were at least allowed by Him, if not orchestrated by Him.

So then, what must our attitude be toward our present circumstances?

Sadness?

Hate?

Joy?

Hope?

Despair?

If we permit our emotions to go along with our circumstances, we will forever be trapped in the cycle of joy or despair. But if our emotions are anchored in Jesus, we can’t be swayed to joy or despair, but to the constant watch, care, and love of our Heavenly Father who is guiding us through the darkness of this broken world until we arrive safely home.
